Connect the connector CN1 on the ROM-28 board to
the connector CN101 on the IF-914 board.
5.
Set the switch S1 on the ROM-28 board to DOWN
LOAD side.
6.
Set the DC LINE switch to ON. Then the data stored
in the ROM-28 board are transferred.
The TX ON switch will blink during transferring the
data, and then darken when transferring is completed.
7.
Set the DC LINE switch to OFF, and disconnect the
ROM-28 board.
8.
Restore the IF-914 board to the original position, and
close the R panel assembly.
9.
Set the DC LINE switch to ON. The updating of the
software starts.
1-13. Updating the Software
The software of this unit can be updated by the following
procedures.

Preparation
Save the updating program in the ROMs H (IC2) and L
(IC3) on the ROM-28 board.

Procedures
1.
Open the R panel assembly. (Refer to Section 1-3.)
2.
Pull out the IF-914 board, and insert the EX-819 board
to the slot for the IF-914 board.
3.
Connect the IF-914 board pulled out to the EX-819
board as shown in the figure.
