Playing the iPod

You can enjoy audio, video and photo 

contents stored in your iPod with this 

system.

See “Compatible devices with this 

system” (page 108) for iPod models that 

can be connected to this system.

1 

Place an iPod into the iPod Dock 
on the unit.

2 

Select “iPod” from the home 
menu, then press ENTER.

Make sure the iPod has been 

recognized by the system before 

pressing ENTER (page 18, 88).

3 

Select “Music” or “Video,” then 
press ENTER.

When playing back a slideshow with 

photo contents on the iPod, select 

“Video,” then manually start playback 

of the slideshow on the iPod.

Notes

 Confirm the output video signal setting 

(NTSC/PAL) on your iPod before connecting 

your iPod to the system. 

 You cannot view pictures of the video content 

with “Music” content type. If you start 

playback of a video content with “Music” 

setting, only music data in the video content 

is played back.

 If you want to return to the home menu, 

press HOME. Note that 

 RETURN cannot 

be used while you play back a music or video 

content.

Note for the iPod touch user

The video content from the iPod touch does 

not start automatically. Start playback of the 

video content manually on the iPod touch.
