 Status bar

The Status bar indicates the following information. By default, the status bar is not 

displayed when playing back a DVD VIDEO, video file or slideshow. To show the status 

bar, press DISPLAY.

 Indicates music or sound source and photo image source.

 Indicates the status of Play Timer or Sleep Timer.

 Indicates current GROOVE, surround and equalizer settings.

 Indicates media insertion or connection status.

 Clock

Note on the iPod connection status

The system may take a while to recognize the iPod. Use the icon color, 

white or grey, to determine the iPod connection status. Grey indicates 

that the iPod is not ready for use or cannot be recognized by the system 

(page 88).
