Removing a CompactFlash Memory Card
Follow the steps below to remove the CompactFlash memory card while your computer is on. If it is not removed properly,
your system may not work properly.
To remove a CompactFlash memory card

To remove a CompactFlash memory card when your computer is off, skip steps 1 to 7.

Double-click the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the taskbar.
The Safely Remove Hardware window appears.

Select the hardware you want to unplug.

Click Stop.
The Stop a Hardware Device window appears.

Confirm that the device can be safely removed from the system.

Click OK.
A window appears, explaining that it is safe to remove the device.

Click OK.

Click Close to close the Safely Remove Hardware window.

Gently grasp the edge of the CompactFlash memory card and pull it out of the slot.
