You can change the memory configuration that affects power consumption during Normal mode.
To change the performance setting

Click
Start

All Programs
, and click
VAIO Control Center
.
The
VAIO Control Center
window appears.

Double-click
Power Management
and
Performance
.
The
Performance
window appears.

Select
Memory bus: 400 MHz Priority is given to saving power
.
By default,
Memory bus: 533 MHz Priority is given to performance
is selected.

Click
OK

At the confirmation prompt, click
Yes
.
