Using Peripheral Devices

Alternatively, you can disconnect the computer from the multi function bay docking station as follows:

Turn off the computer and the connected peripherals; and then disconnect all connected peripherals.

Slide the

LOCK/UNLOCK

switch on the multi function bay docking station to the

UNLOCK

position.

Click

Start

and then

Undock Computer

Make sure that a message balloon appears and the

IN USE

indicator turns off, and then press the

PUSH RELEASE

button.

Lift the computer away from the multi function bay docking station.

Close the multi function bay docking station connector cover on the bottom of the computer.

It is extremely important to close the multi function bay docking station connector cover after disconnecting your computer from the multi function
bay docking station. If the cover is left open, dust may get inside and damage the computer.

To disconnect the multi function bay docking station completely from AC power, unplug the AC adapter.
