The IEEE 802.11n draft standard, using the 2.4 or 5 GHz bandwidth, is not available on ad-hoc networks.

Turn on the
WIRELESS
switch.

Double-click

) on the taskbar to display the
Wireless Device Switch
window.

Select your desired wireless option(s) and click
OK
.
Make sure the Wireless LAN indicator is lit.

Click
Start
and
Control Panel
.

Click
View network status and tasks
under
Network and Internet
.

Click
Set up a connection or network
on the left pane.
The
Set up a connection or network
window appears.

Select an option to specify the ad-hoc network settings and click
Next
.

Follow the on-screen instructions.
