Using Peripheral Devices

Disconnecting Your Computer from the Port Replicator

To prevent loss of unsaved data, be sure to turn off your computer before disconnecting it from the port replicator.

To disconnect your computer from the port replicator

VGN-S400 Series models

Turn off the computer and the connected peripherals.

Push the release buttons (1) at the same time.

Lift the computer away from the port replicator.

Close the port replicator connector cover on the bottom of your computer.
