Troubleshooting

Warning messages
When a warning condition occurs, the warning message
appears, but the ALARM indicator does not light. The
remedy is listed below next to each message.
Troubleshooting
Before submitting the product for repair, please recheck
the following. If the unit still does not operate properly,
contact your supplier or nearest Sony Service Center.
PAPER END The paper corresponding to the
designated number of sheets is
exhausted.

the ink ribbon wrongly.

the colors of the spools of the ink
ribbon and the spool holders of the

NO PAPER is
displayed even though
paper roll is loaded. The paper roll is not loaded correctly.

Load the ink ribbon correctly.

The image is printed
out of place on the
paper. The paper is loaded at an angle. Try to
eject several sheets of paper by
keeping the FEED button pressed for
more than one second after loading.

Ejecting the paper by pressing the
FEED button helps to put the
remaining paper in the correct

Paper is left even
though PAPER END
is displayed. This is not a malfunction. Extra sheets
of paper are provided with each roll of
paper.

stacked properly on the paper output
tray after they are cut.

It is recommended to use the UPA-
DR100PS PRINT STACKER (not
supplied) so that they are ejected
and stacked properly.
