Once updating is started, the speaker stops music playback and BLUETOOTH communications.
1. Tap and hold the UPDATE button until beeps are heard.
When the latest software update starts, the UPDATE button flashes.
The speaker is not operational while updating.
The UPDATE button turns off and the speaker switches to standby mode or BLUETOOTH/Network standby mode
automatically after updating is completed.
If the UPDATE button flashes slower than during the update
Software update failed. Press the
(on/standby) button to turn off the speaker, then turn on again. Make sure the
speaker is connected to the Internet and the UPDATE button is lit, then start updating again.
Hint
The flashing interval of the UPDATE button becomes slow temporarily depending on the progress of the software
update. Be careful not to turn off the speaker. If the speaker fails to update its software, the UPDATE button will keep
flashing slowly until the speaker is turned off. Before turning off the speaker, make sure that the UPDATE button
keeps flashing slowly to distinguish if it indicates a software update failure.
Note
Updating normally takes about 3 to 10 minutes. It may take more time depending on your network environment.
Keep the speaker connected to the power supply and network while updating.
Software update is active only when the speaker is connected to an AC outlet via the AC adaptor.
