2. DISCRI coil adjustment
Setting:
Procedure:
1) Connect a digital voltmeter to TP (DISCRI) and TP (GND).
2) Press the
[4]
button.
3) Set the output level of SSG to 66 dBµ EMF.( ± 0 kHz dev.)
4) Adjust L502 so that the voltage is 1.1 ± 0.05 V.
3. Speaker output level adjustment
Setting:
Procedure:
1) Connect a noise meter to J502.
2) Set the SSG.
3) Adjust RT501 so that the voltage is 80 ± 5 mV.
4. Sensitivity adjustment/check
Setting:
Procedure:
1) Connect a SINAD meter and level meter to J502.
2) Set the output level of SSG to 20 dBµ EMF.
3) Change the frequency of SSG to 46.61 MHz.
4) Set the deviation of SSG to 1 kHz ± 3 kHz deviation.
5) Press the
[CHANNEL]
button twice. (Change the channel to
ch1.)
6) Adjust L510 to get maximun reading on SINAD meter.
7) Change the output level of SSG to 3 dBµ EMF.
8) Adjust L510 to get maximun reading on SINAD meter.
9) Check the level meter more than 12 dB.
10) Press the
[CHANNEL]
button. (Change the channel to ch10.)
11) Change the frequency of SSG to 46.97 MHz.
12) Check the level meter more than 12 dB.
13) Press the
[CHANNEL]
button. (Change the channel to ch11.)
14) Change the frequency of SSG to 43.72 MHz.
15) Check the level meter more than 12 dB. (Continue to check
sensitivity all channels.)
5. RSSI on/off level check
Setting:
Procedure:
1) Change the frequency of SSG to 46.77 MHz.
2) Change the deviation of SSG to OFF. (± 0 kHz dev.)
3) Change the output level of SSG to 7 dBµ EMF.
4) Press the
[PGM]
button.
5) Check the buzzer does not ring.
6) Change the output level of SSG to 33 dBµ EMF.
7) Check the buzzer ring continuously.
6. Data in check
Setting:
Procedure:
1) Change the output level of SSG to 4 dBµ EMF.
2) Change the deviation of SSG to 200 Hz ± 4 kHz deviation.
3) Press the

button.
4) Check the buzzer ring continuously.
