5-4-2. Curvature Adjustment (1 group frame service
assy)
Refer to “2-2. DISASSEMBLY”, disassemble the lens, and
change the thickness of the washer.
Adjusting Procedure
1. Set the zoom to the TELE end.
2. Increase or decrease the thickness of the 1 group spacer washer
to adjust the curvature.
Front focus: Make the washer thicker.
Rear focus: Make the washer thinner.

3. Perform the check and adjustment repeatedly until the curvature
is resolved.
Note:
If the curvature cannot be resolved even after the adjust-
ment, replace the 1 group frame service assy.

Refer to “2-2. DISASSEMBLY”, disassemble the lens, and
change the thickness of the washer.
Adjusting Procedure
1. Set the zoom to the WIDE end.
2. Increase or decrease the thickness of the FB washer to adjust the
curvature.
Front focus: Make the washer thicker.
Rear focus: Make the washer thinner.
