The alarm indicator on the front panel of the library flashes
red (error) or orange (warning) if there is a problem with
the library hardware or configuration settings. Selecting
ERROR STATUS from the menu will display the error
code (Error xx-xxx) or warning message.
Error codes are displayed predominantly for errors due to
hardware problems. If an error code is displayed, consult
your local Sony representative.
If a message appears, refer to the following error
description to resolve the issue. If the message display
persists, consult your local Sony representative.

The speed of the fan has dropped.
The library continues to operate, however extended use will cause the temperature inside the library and
the drives to increase, risking failure or even fire.

the drives to increase even further, risking failure or even fire.

The temperature inside the library is too low.
The library continues to operate, however the HDD performance has deteriorated and may experience
difficulty reading and writing.
PowerUnit(A) Err
An error was detected in the power supply unit.
Consult your local Sony representative.
PowerUnit(B) Err
DC Power Warning
A DC voltage error occurred in the library.
The library continues to operate, however extended use will cause the temperature inside the library and
the drives to increase, risking failure or even fire.
Consult your local Sony representative.
ILL. SETUP!
An error occurred when setting a value in the setup menu.
Reconfigure the setup item. If the same error persists, consult your local Sony representative.
JM Com Error
Reboot the library. If the same error persists, consult your local Sony representative.

An HDD read/write error has occurred repeatedly. The HDD must be replaced.

An HDD error occurred, and the drive cannot be accessed. The HDD must be replaced.

A data rebuild is in progress.
Do not turn off the power until after the rebuild finishes.
Update Err!
The software update was not successful.
Reinstall the update. If the same error persists, consult your local Sony representative.
Turn off/on PWR!
Restart the library to activate the changed settings.
DIPSW Error
Could not read the DIP switch setting.
Reboot the library. If the same error persists, consult your local Sony representative.
