6.3. Factory reset
Resets the settings of the unit to factory default state. Network settings, audio
settings, and calibration state are all initialized.
In factory default state, the LED lamp of the MAS-A100 flashes green. For details
about initial setup, see “5.2 MAS-A100 initial setup using MASM-1” (page 49).
If the installation location is changed or if the intended use is changed, such as from
speech reinforcement to audio capture, perform a factory reset, initial setup, and
calibration.
The reset operation is performed only to the network for setup. For details about
resetting the Dante network interface to factory defaults, refer to the Dante Controller
manual.

Open the web UI of an MAS-A100 in a web browser, log in as the administrator, and
reset the unit to factory default state. For details, refer to the MAS-A100 Operating
Instructions.

Locate the pinhole on the back of the MAS-A100, insert a pin, and depress the reset
button at the base of the hole for 10 seconds while the MAS-A100 is operating. For

6.4. MASM-1 log files
The log files of communications with the MAS-A100 units are stored in the
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Sony\MasManager\Log folder.
The discovery and IP address setup (see “MAS-A100 discovery and IP address setting”
(page 50)) communications logs are stored in SCAN.log, and all other
communications logs are stored in CGI.log. The maximum size of log files is
approximately 10 MB. When log files reach the maximum size, they are backed up
with a number prefix added to the file name extension. Up to 10 files of each type of
backup file can be created and used in rotation in the order SCAN.log.1, SCAN.log2, …
SCAN.log.10 and CGI.log.1, CGI.log.2, … CGI.log.10.
