“--y--m--d” or “--:--” is
displayed on the recording
date display.
• The date of recording will not be displayed if you recorded the file
when the clock was not set.
There are fewer menu items
displayed in the menu mode.
• The menu items displayed are different depending on the
operation modes (stop mode, playback mode, recording mode, or
FM radio mode) (page 81).
The remaining time
displayed in the display
window is shorter than that
displayed in the supplied
Sound Organizer software.
• The IC recorder requires a certain amount of memory for system
operation. That amount is subtracted from the remaining time,
which is the reason for the difference.
The battery life is short.
• The battery life on page 123 is based on playback with the volume
level set to 14. The battery life may shorten depending on the
operation of the IC recorder.
There is no battery power
remaining after you have left
the batteries inserted for long
time without using the IC
recorder.
• Even if you do not use the IC recorder, the batteries are consumed
slightly. If you do not intend to use the IC recorder for an
extended period of time, it is recommended that you turn the
power off (page 15) or remove the batteries. Moreover, if you set
“Auto Power Off” to a short span in the menu (page 93), you can
prevent the batteries from being consumed due to forgetting to
turn the IC recorder off.
There is no battery power
remaining when you
disconnect the IC recorder
from the USB AC adaptor
after you have left the IC
recorder connected for long
time, fully charged.
• Once the batteries are fully charged, it is not recharged
automatically, even if you leave the IC recorder connected to the
USB AC adaptor. You can use the IC recorder while it is
connected to the USB AC adaptor, but charge it again after
disconnecting it.
During charging, the
“
,” and the battery
indicator are flashing.
• The environmental temperature is out of the range for charging.
Charge the batteries in an environment with a temperature of
5 °C - 35 °C.
