DICOM Settings
Configure settings that are necessary for DICOM
transmissions of still images.

Select [DICOM Settings] in the [System Admin
Settings] screen, and press the ENTER button.
The [DICOM Settings] screen appears.

Select a tab, and press the ENTER button.

Configure the settings in each tab as necessary.
For details on each tab, see the following.

[Local Station 2] Tab (page 86)

When you finish configuration, select [Apply] and
press the ENTER button.
The configurations are saved, and the [System Admin
Settings] screen appears again.
[MWM Server 1] Tab
Configure MWM server settings.
[MWM]
Select whether to use the MWM server.
The default setting is [Not Used].
[Confirm] appears when [Use] is selected. Confirm
communication with the MWM server. For details, see
“To confirm communication with the MWM server”
(page 85)
[Server Name]
Enter the server name.
This item is available when [MWM] is set to [Use].
Up to 253 characters can be entered.
[Port No.]
Enter the port number.
This item is available when [MWM] is set to [Use].
You can enter a value ranging from 1 to 65535 (up to 5
digits).
The default setting is [104].
[AE Title]
Enter the AE title.
This item is available when [MWM] is set to [Use].
Up to 16 characters can be entered.
[Retry]
Select whether to retry operations, such as accessing or
searching MWL and confirming communication with the
MWM server.
The default setting is [Use].
[Advanced] appears when [Use] is selected. For details
on the settings, see “To configure the retry interval and
number of retries” (page 85).
To confirm communication with the MWM
server
Confirm whether communication with the MWM server
is enabled.

After configuring each setting in the [MWM Server 1]
tab, select [Confirm] for [MWM] and press the ENTER
button.
Communication confirmation starts. An indicator
appears during confirmation.
The results of confirmation appear when the process
is complete.

Select [OK], and press the ENTER button.
If proper communication with the MWM server was not
established, refer to the cause displayed on the screen and
resolve the problem.
To configure the retry interval and
number of retries

Select [Advanced] for [Retry], and press the ENTER
button.
The [Advanced] settings screen for the retry appears.

Configure each setting, select [Apply] and press the
ENTER button.
[Retry Interval (sec)]
Enter a value ranging from 1 to 120 seconds for the
retry interval.
The default setting is 10 seconds.
[Number of Retries]
Enter a value ranging from 1 to 10 for the number of
retries.
The default setting is 10.
