1-4. Disconnecting/Connecting a Coaxial Cable
1-4-1. Fine-Wire Coaxial Cable (With the Connector)
Fine-wire coaxial cables are connected to the
following boards. Be sure to observe the discon-
necting and connecting procedures below to
prevent wire disconnection or poor contact.

Disconnection
1. Remove the cable stopper (30P). (Refer to
Section 1-3.)
2. Hook portions A of the cable stopper (30P) to
the connector of the
fi
ne-wire coaxial cable,
and pull the connector straight in the arrow
direction to disconnect it.

Never pull the
fi
ne-wire coaxial cable.
Connection
1. Dry clean the contact surface with a wiping
cloth in the arrow a direction.
2. Hold both sides of the
fi
ne-wire coaxial cable
connector with the contact surface facing up.
3. Insert the connector straight to meet the angle
speci
fi
ed in Figure 1.

Insert the connector carefully so that the
connector guides are not caught by the edge
of the mating connector.
NG Do not pull the cable.
