Use following TEST DISC (for CD) when this unit confi rms the
operation and checks it.

RELEASING THE DISC TRAY LOCK
The disc tray lock function for the antitheft of sample disc in the
shop is equipped.
Lock function can be releasing by the following procedure.
Releasing Procedure:
1. Press the [

] button to turn the power on.
2. Press the [MENU] button, then rotate [– TUNING +
.

] dial to select the “Function Select” and press the
[PUSH ENTER] button, then rotate [–
.
>
] dial to select the CD function and press the [PUSH EN-
TER] button.
3. Press two buttons of the [BACK] and [
@
/
1
] simultaneously for
fi ve seconds.
4. The message “UNLOCKED” is displayed on the liquid crystal
display and the disc tray is unlocked.
Note:
When “LOCKED” is displayed, the disc tray lock is not released by
turning power on/off with the [
@
/
1
] button.
CHECKING THE OPERATION AFTER REPAIR
After repair completion, connect the “iPod”, “Walkman”, “smart-
phone” etc. corresponding to this unit, and check the operation of
playback, charge etc.
HOW TO OPEN THE TRAY WHEN POWER SWITCH TURN OFF
Note 1:
After the panel (top) is removed, this work is done.
Note 2:
Please prepare the thin wire (clip etc. processed to the length of 8 cm or more).

TYPE OF AEP AND UK MODELS
In the AEP and UK models, the MAIN board has been changed in
the midway of production.
When replacing or repairing the MAIN board of the AEP and UK
models, be sure to works after checking the serial number.

NOTE OF REPLACING THE MODULE DAB TUNER
The module DAB tuner of HCD-SX7B has been changed in the
midway of production. When replacing the module DAB tuner
with a new part, be sure to refer to fi gure below, identify the mod-
ule DAB tuner (Former DAB type) before changing and module
DAB tuner (New DAB type) after changing, and then replace it.
