Precautions on Adjusting
1)
Disconnecting the VC-275 board CN926 (4P, 0.8mm) means
disconnecting the lithium 3V power supply (FP-571 board
BT001), data such as date, time, user-set menus will be lost.
After completing adjustments, reset these data. If the CN926
has been disconnected, the self-diagnosis data, data on history
of use (total drum rotation time etc.) will be lost. Before
disconnecting, note down the self-diagnosis data (data of page:
2, address: B0 to C6) and data on history use (data of page: 2,
address: A2 to AA). (Refer to “5-4. SERVICE MODE” for the
self-diagnosis data and the data on the history use.)

To remove the cabinet (R) block (IO-69 board, PR-41 board,
FP-575 flexible board), disconnect the following connector.
VC-275 board CN922 (50P 0.5mm)

To remove the cabinet (upper) and LCD block, disconnect the
following connectors.
VC-275 board CN926 (4P 0.8mm)
(Lithium battery)
VC-275 board CN931 (40P 0.5mm)
(EX-39 board (Multi connector))
VC-275 board CN929 (5P 0.8mm)
(DV jack)
VC-275 board CN923 (32P 0.5mm)
(PD-130 board (LCD panel))
VC-275 board CN927 (10P 0.5mm)
(FK-81 board (Function switch))
VC-275 board CN938 (2P 1.0mm)
(EJ-35 board (Eject switch))
MS-95 board CN101 (10P 0.5mm)
(Memory stick slot)

As the video and audio jacks and LANC jack are provided on
the cabinet (R) block, the block must be connected to the VC-
275 board. So connect the cabinet (R) block to the following
connector.
VC-275 board CN922 (50P 0.5mm)

By setting the “Forced VTR Power ON mode”, the video section
can be operate even if the FP-575 flexible board (power switch)
has been removed.
Note1:
Setting the “Forced VTR Power ON” mode (VTR mode)
1) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
2) Select page: D, address: 10, set data: 02, and press the PAUSE
button of the adjustment remote commander.
The above procedure will enable the VTR power to be turned on
with the FP-575 flexible board removed.
After completing adjustments, be sure to exit the “Forced VTR
Power ON mode”.

Setting the “Forced Memory Power ON” mode (Memory mode)
1) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
2) Select page: D, address: 10, set data: 05, and press the PAUSE
button of the adjustment remote commander.
The above procedure will enable the VTR power to be turned on
with the FP-575 flexible board removed.
After completing adjustments, be sure to exit the “Forced Memory
Power ON mode”.
Note3:
Exiting the “Forced Power ON” mode
1) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
2) Select page: D, address: 10, set data: 00, and press the PAUSE
button of the adjustment remote commander.
3) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 00.

Adjusting Connectors
Some of the adjusting points of the video section are concentrated
at VC-275 board CN933. Connect the measuring instruments via
the CPC-13 jig (J-6082-443-A). The following table lists the pin
numbers and signal names of CN933.
