Some of the Optical Pickup replacement KHM-220AAA/J1RP may need reinforcement

boards to be cut smaller. The reinforced board may interfere with the Optical Pickup. If this is the
case, please check and do the following.

Solution:

Please confirm the reinforced board that is attached to the 23 Pin- Flexible Cable, which

is connecting to the Optical Pickup. Cut the part of the reinforced board shown below. When

cutting,

avoid damage to other signal lines, cut only the board. After cutting, it has to be 10.0 - 11.5 (mm) if
you measure the length of the reinforced board from the point of the Flexible Cable.
