Press SAVE.
The access indicator for the “Memory Stick” or PC
card insertion slot lights up, and the displayed
image is recorded onto the “Memory Stick” or PC
card.
If an error message appears
Error message
Meaning
FORMAT ERROR
The inserted “Memory Stick” or PC
card is not formatted.
Insert a formatted “Memory Stick”
or PC card or format it with the
printer.
MS/PC CARD FULL
There is not enough space to record
the image or the maximum number
of images are already recorded.
Replace the “Memory Stick” or PC
card with a formatted one.
LOCKED
The “Memory Stick” or PC card is
in the write protect status. Set it to
the write enable status.
About file name of the
recorded image
The image is recorded
with the file name
“MSP0####.jpg.” The
number “####” is
sequentially allocated
following the largest file
number recorded in the
“Memory Stick” or PC
card.
About the number of
images to be saved
The selected image is
compressed and saved in
the JPEG format. The
number of image files that
can be stored in a
“Memory Stick” or PC
card varies depending on
the type of the image.
Generally, a 4 MB
“Memory Stick” or PC
card can store about 40 to
60 images.
Notes
• The printer can save a
maximum of 256 image
files. This includes the
number of images
saved on a “Memory
Stick” or PC card.
• The image recorded by
the printer may not be
viewed with other
devices.
• You cannot save an
image with a file name
with “DCIM” or
“100MSDCF.”
