You can use VCRs or other units connected to
the VIDEO jacks. Refer to the operation manual
supplied with the unit for further information on
the operation.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until VIDEO
appears in the front panel display.
Each time you press FUNCTION, the mode of
the system changes in the following sequence.

* When selecting the TV, TV sound is output. When
connecting to TV only using the SCART jack, no
sound is output from TV.
To use a digital satellite receiver
or other components with a high
audio output level
Connect the satellite receiver to the VIDEO IN
jack of this system. You can also connect the
components with a high audio output level
(including 2V r.m.s components, such as MD,
etc.) to the VIDEO IN jack, and set the
following procedure to prevent distortion
occurring.

Press MENU when the function is VIDEO.
“SAT” flashes in the front panel display.

Press ENTER while “SAT” flashes.
Tip
To return to the VIDEO function, do the same
procedure above.
Presetting Radio Stations
You can preset 20 FM stations, and 10 AM
stations.
Before tuning, make sure to turn down the
volume to minimum.

Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly until
the band you want appears in the front
panel display.
Each time you press TUNER/BAND, the
band toggles beween FM and AM.

Press and hold or – until
“AUTO” appears in the front panel
display, then release.
Scanning stops when the system tunes in a
station. “TUNED” and “STEREO” (for
stereo program) appear in the front panel
display.

Press MENU.
“MEMORY” appears in the front panel
display.
