1-6. Using the Extension Board
The following extension boards are avilable for the PCM-
3348HR.

Extension board EXT-309: Part No. J-6400-120-A
(This board is prepared as a
tool. Obtain it spearately.)
1-6-1. Using Extension board EXT-310
The extension board EXT-310 is used when inspecting the
following D rack boards.
DET-28, DAP-14, MC-53, TCR-7, CTK-15, ARP-5,
MEM-68, ED-50, ED-40, ED-41, MT-128, CK-30, DAD-
30, SV-163, SVD-15

Turn the power of PCM-3348HR off before removing or
inserting boards.
Procedure
(1) Open the front door.
(2) Loosen the two screws of the board to be extended.
Release the upper and lower lock levers, and pull the
board out of the main unit in the direction of the arrow.
(3) After the board has been extracted, insert the extension
board EXT-310 in the direction of the arrow.
(4) Insert the board in the extension board EXT-310
connector in the direction of the arrow.
