The number of characters and numbers allowed for the encryption key differs depending on
the encryption type and input characters.
Example when WEP is selected: Hexadecimal input: “4506960251”, “F3BDC614D9”, etc.
Character input: “9Kp3xsDFhAL4V”, etc.

WEP 10 characters or 26 characters 0 – 9,
A – F or a –f, can be used. Five characters or 13 characters
consisting of single-byte
alphanumeric and symbol
characters can be used. Uppercase
and lowercase characters are
treated as separate characters.
WPA-PSK(AES),
WPA-PSK(TKIP),
WPA2-PSK(AES) 64 characters 0 – 9, A – F or a –f,
can be used. Eight to 63 characters consisting of
single-byte alphanumeric and
symbol characters can be used.
Uppercase and lowercase
characters are treated as separate
characters.
