Notes
• If the system is on about 30 seconds before the
preset time, the Daily Timer will not be activated.
• Do not operate the system from the time the system
turns on until the play starts (about 30 seconds
before the preset time).
Waking up to music
— Daily Timer
You can wake up to music at a preset time.
Make sure you have set the clock (see “Setting
the time” on page 8).

Prepare the sound source you want to
play.
• CD: Place a CD. To start from a
specific track, make a programme (see
“Programming CD tracks” on page 11).
• MD: Insert an MD. To start from a
specific track, make a programme (see
“Programming MD tracks” on page 15).
• Tape: Insert a tape.
• Radio: Tune in a station (see
“Listening to the radio” on page 35).

Turn VOLUME (or press VOL+ or – on
the remote) to adjust the volume.

Press CLOCK/TIMER SET on the
remote.
“DAILY SET ?” appears.

Press ENTER/YES.
“ON” appears and the hour indication
flashes.

Set the time to start playing.
