4. Trouble When Testing MODE Switch and DC-

IN (6 V)

If selecting the MODE switch (BKNE-1010), the
“AUDIO LEVEL METER R” LEDs are not changed.

.

The S1 on the CPU-206 board is at fault or is a cold
joint.

.

The IC1 or IC24 on the CPU-206 board is at fault or is a
cold joint.

The “AUDIO LEVEL METER L or R” LEDs are not
changed by plugging and unplugging the “DC IN
(6V)”.

.

Any of the Q6, IC1 and IC24 on the CPU-206 board are

at fault or are cold joints.

.

The J1 on the CPU-206 board is a cold joint.

5. Trouble When Testing Communication.

When testing the D-sub 15-pin connector (RS-
422A), the “AUDIO LEVEL METER L or R” LED is
NG.

.

Any of the IC5, IC9 and IC27 on the CPU-206 board are
at fault or are cold joints.

.

The CN2 on the CPU-206 board is a cold joint.

When testing the D-sub 9-pin connector (RS-
232C), the “AUDIO LEVEL METER L or R” LED is
NG.

.

Any of the IC9, IC18 and IC27 on the CPU-206 board
are at fault or are cold joints.

.

The CN7 on the CPU-206 board is a cold joint.

6. Trouble When Testing Switch

If pressing a push button switch (BKNE-1010), the
“AUDIO LEVEL METER L or R” LEDs are not
changed.

.

The IC24 on the CPU-206 board is at fault or is a cold
joint.

.

The CN5 or CN6 on the CPU-206 board is a cold joint.

.

The harness (KEY2) between CN5 on the CPU-206

board and CN1 on the KY-343 board is not connected or
is a poor connection.

.

The harness (KEY3) between CN6 on the CPU-206
board and CN3 on the KY-343 board is not connected or

is a poor connection.

.

Any of the S1 through the S15 on the KY-343 board are

at fault or are cold joints.

7. Trouble When Testing Search Dial

If turning the search dial (BKNE-1010), the
“AUDIO LEVEL METER L or R” LEDs are not
changed.

.

The IC15 or IC24 on the CPU-206 board is at fault or is

a cold joint.

.

The CN3 on the CPU-206 board is a cold joint.

.

The harness between CN3 on the CPU-206 board and
search dial is not connected or is a poor connection.

8. Trouble When Testing Video Fader

If moving the video fader lever (BKNE-1011), the
“AUDIO LEVEL METER R” LEDs are not changed.

.

Any of the IC22, IC23 and IC25 on the CPU-206 board

are at fault or are cold joints.

.

The CN1 on the CPU-206 board is a cold joint.

.

The CN1 or the CN7 on the CPU-207 is a cold joint.

.

The IC2 on the CPU-207 board is at fault or is a cold

joint.

.

The connection between CN7 on the CPU-207 board and

video fader is not connected or is a poor contact.

The video fader is at fault.
