3-4. Replacement of Main Parts
3-4-1. Floppy Disk Drive
1. Remove the bottom plate. (Refer to the section 3-2.)
2. Remove the three screws securing the floppy disk
drive and FD bracket.
3. Remove the four screws, then remove the floppy disk
drive.
4. Install a new floppy disk drive in the reverse order of
the steps 1 through 3.
3-4-2. Key Top
Only when using DME-7000
When using DME-7000, change the two key tops shown in
the figure for the two supplied key tops with BZDM-7020
(Option).
Cap pull tool
The key top can be extracted manually, but can be more
easily removed using a cap pull tool.
• Cap pull tool: 3-179-054-01
<Use of tool>
1. Put the cap pull tool into the one side of the key top.
2. Pull out the key top by hooking the end of the tool.
