Memorizing the path
Note
When you touch AIBO on the chin sensor or the face sensor, be sure to reach for the sensor
from the side of AIBO. If you reach straight for AIBO’s sensor, it may take your hand for an
obstacle and move back.

ERS-210 series

Press the chin sensor for three seconds or more.
ERS-220 series
t
Press the face sensor for three seconds or more.
AIBO’s eye lights or all of the face side lights light.

ERS-210 series
t
Press the chin sensor.
ERS-220 series
t
Press the face sensor.
AIBO’s mode indicator lights up and it’s ready to memorize the path.

Do the procedure described in “Guiding AIBO’s movements” (page 13
to 15) to make AIBO move.
AIBO memorizes the path as it moves.
To cancel memorizing the path
ERS-210 series
t
Keep pressing the head sensor for three seconds or more.
ERS-220 series
t
Keep pressing the head sensor forward or backwards for three
seconds or more.
When AIBO’s memory reaches its full capacity or when you press the chin sensor
(ERS-210 series) or face sensor (ERS-220 series) for more than three seconds, it
stops and the mode indicator turns off.
