International Calls
To dial internationally, press and hold the
0
key until a
+
sign appears. The
+
sign is replaced with the
international access number of the country from which
you are calling. Enter the country code, area code
(without the leading zero) and phone number.
Receiving Calls
When you receive a call, the ringer sounds and the
display and keypad backlight illuminate. The incoming
call icon (
) appears in the display. If you have
Caller ID, the caller’s phone number is shown along with
the icon. The caller’s name will also appear if the phone
number is found in your phonebook. The voice tag will
also be played if you have one recorded for that caller.
Press
Answer
to answer the call.
Silencing the Ringer
You can temporarily silence the ringer by pressing the
right softkey or the upper or lower side keys, and still
answer the call by pressing
Answer
.
Note!
Assisted Global Positioning System will not work
under certain circumstances such as in certain
building interiors and in analog mode. Assisted
Global Positioning is carrier and network
dependent. Check with your service provider for
availability.
Note!
If your keypad is locked and you attempt to
make an emergency call, the phone will recognize
it as an emergency number and will temporarily
disable keypad lock and phonelock.
Note!
In some instances, Caller ID may send the caller’s
name even if the name/number is not in your
phonebook. Caller ID could also block the
caller’s name or number from appearing.
