Send message
1. From the main screen, select
Menu > Messaging
.

Text Messaging
Your phone supports four text modes:

Multi-Tap
mode allows you to type letters by pressing
the key until the correct letter displays. For example, to type

T9 ® (Predictive)
mode allows you to type words with only
one keystroke per letter. The phone predicts the word you want.
For example, to type

Number mode
mode allows you to type numbers. To type
numbers, press and hold the key until the number appears.

Symbol mode
mode allows you to type symbols. To type symbols
while in the text entry screen, select
Options > Add symbol
. Scroll
to the symbol and press the
Center Select
key.
To change text mode while in the text entry screen, press and hold

to switch
between multi-tap and T9 or you can select
Options > Writing options >
Dictionary (T9) > On

Off
