Activating and setting the equalizer

1. Press the [SETUP] button while the device is switched on.
2. Turn the click wheel until [Equalizer Effect] is shown
(Fig.20)

3. Press the click wheel to confirm your selection.
4. Turn the click wheel to select a default setting.
You can select one of the following default settings:
• Maximum bass
• Maximum voice
• Maximum treble
5. Press the click wheel to confirm your selection.

The display shows the [EQ] symbol
(Fig.20/1).
Deactivating the equalizer
6. Turn the click wheel in the [Equalizer Effect] submenu until the display shows
[Equalizer Off].
7. Press the click wheel to confirm your selection.

The [EQ] symbol no longer appears in the display.
8.5 Sound effect
Switching the sound effect on
1. Press the [SETUP] button while the device is switched on.
2. Turn the click wheel until [Equalizer Effect] is shown
(Fig.20).
3. Press the click wheel to confirm your selection.
4. Turn the click wheel until [Max. Stereo] is shown.
5. Press the click wheel to confirm your selection.
6. Turn the click wheel until [Max. Stereo On] is shown.
7. Press the click wheel to confirm your selection.

The sound effect is switched on.
