Connecting the SonicWALL PRO 4100
SonicWall Pro 4100
The Link LED to the left and below the
X1
port will illuminate indicating an active
connection. Note that the Link LED is color-coded to indicate connection speed;
amber indicates 1 Gbps, green indicates 100 Mbps, and unlit while the right (activity)
LED is illuminated indicates 10 Mbps.
Connecting the LAN Port to Your Management Station
1. Connect one end of the provided red Crossover cable to the computer you are using
to manage the SonicWALL PRO 4100.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the
X0
port on your SonicWALL PRO 4100.
