position every time you re-start the Sonic T24 system. This will avoid
disturbing others when booting it up. As with all speaker systems,
distortion may occur at high volumes. If so, turn the volume down.
POWER OFF
When not in use and to minimize power consumption, please turn the
T24 system off. Please note that the Sonic T24 has an “AUTO
SHUT-DOWN (STANDBY) function which prevents excess power
consumption during idle play.
When neither an iPod nor AUX audio is connected, the T24 will switch
automatically to the “sleep mode”.
AUX MODE
1. To play a music device through the AUX jack, connect the device
to the unit using the 3.5mm AUX jack, power the the T24 on and
playback.
2. If an iPod is not connected to the T24 the audio input will
automatically default to the AUX mode. If an iPod is connected
the input will automatically switch to the iPod. If you wish to
switch back to the AUX input you can do so using the remote
control.
3. The volume level in the AUX mode will be configured to the
original settings.
4. When the iPod is connected through the AUX input the volume
level will be at the original settings and can be adjusted on the
iPod itself or the T24 manual controls or using the remote control.
5. In power off mode the T24 unit will be automatically turned on if
an iPod is connected via the T24 dock. However, if a player is
connected via the Aux input, the T24 must be turned on manually
by pressing the POWER button on the remote control.
VIDEO OUT
1. An RCA cable is used to connect the T24 to a monitor or Television
that has an RCA connector.
2. To play video; connect the iPod via the dock and set the video
configuration on the iPod. The video output will now be on the
remote display and the audio output will be from the T24.
3. Volume can be adjusted using the manual controls on the T24 or
from the remote control.
