OPERATION
The appliance can be operated using the push-buttons located on the top, with the remote
controller or with the free smartphone application. The unit may emit a slight odor when
turned on initially, which is not a malfunction. It is harmless and evaporates quickly.
Set the main switch (5) to the I (ON) position. The unit will emit a short beep.
The appliance can be switched on or off using the I/O push-button
on top of the unit.
By being switched on, the flame effect will begin to operate only, without any heating function.
The built-in fan heater can be activated in two stages, with
and
buttons. Pressing the
same buttons again will switch off the corresponding heating stage. The appliance can be
switched off anytime using the I/O push-button.
The ON / OFF button (13) on the
remote controller
has the same function as the I/O button
on the appliance. By using the
and
buttons you can switch on or off the corresponding
heating stages. The currently selected stage can be checked on the appliance. The remote
controller's
button the color of the flame-effect can be set.
Smartphone application:
The mobile phone needs to be connected to internet.
1.
Scan the QR code with you smart phone (Figure 4.) then download and install
"TuyaSmart" application. In the application, select Login button, if you already have a
TuyaSmat account on that phone then enter the application. Make sure your device and
smartphone are as close as possible to the Wi-Fi router and both are connected to it.
If you do not have a TuyaSmart account on that phone, then select the Register button.
•
Select the country dialing number and enter your mobile phone number without the
dialing 06 and press the "Get" button.
•
Enter the "Verification code" you got in SMS and enter the password you want to use in
the application, which should consist of numbers and letters. You have 60 seconds.
•
The application is ready for use.
2. Add the new device to the program by pressing the "+" button.
•
A faint red LED flashes rapidly in the fireplace's firebox.
•
Select the device type: "Heater".
•
On your phone, press the "Confirm indicator quickly blink" button.
•
Enter your Wi-Fi password and press "Confirm".
•
The "Connecting now" screen is running and your device is connected to the cloud-
based application.
•
Press the “Done” button on your phone.
3. If the connection under the previous point was not successful, "Failed to add" is displayed.
•
Press and hold the WIFI RESET button for 3 seconds.
•
A faint red LED flashes slowly in the firebox of the fireplace.
•
Select "AP MODE" in the application.
•
Press the "Confirm indicator slowly blink" button on your phone.
•
Enter your Wi-Fi password and press "Confirm".
•
On your phone's display, press the "Connect now" button.
•
Connect to the "ESP-1AB445" network on your phone via WLAN network and return to
TuyaSmart on your phone.
•
The "Connecting Now" screen is running and your device is connected to the cloud-
based application.
•
On your phone, press the "Done" button.
If your device is connected to the Internet via your WIFI network, you can control it from
anywhere in the world with your phone.
•
You can turn the device off or on at any time by pressing the "Power" button at the left
bottom of the phone application. You can see the current heating level, ambient
temperature and set temperature.
•
When you turn on the device, the "+" or "-" buttons on the display can be used to set the
desired temperature.
•
Use the
button at the bottom of the display to select the desired heating degree.
•
Use the
button at the bottom of the display to select the flame-effect color.
•
Use the
button to set a weekly program for the device. At the bottom of the screen, press
„Add Schedule” to select the day / days of the week, punctually when to turn on or off the
product.
You can see the room temperature in the application, you can set the desired temperature,
switch on/off the appliance, select a low (Low) or high (High) heating level, set the flame-
effect color, and set the time and days of turning off and on.
The built-in energy-saving, electronically controlled LED light source does not require
replacement, cannot be replaced.
In the event of overheating, the
overheating protection function
will switch off the unit, for
example, when the air inlets and outlets are covered. Power off the unit by unplugging it from
the electric outlet. Allow the appliance to cool (for at least 30 minutes). Check whether the air
inlets and outlets are obstructed or not, and clean them if necessary. Switch on the unit again.
If the overheating protection activates again, power off the unit by unplugging it from the
electric outlet and contact the service facility.
After use, please turn off the appliance using the main switch (5).
CLEANING AND MAINTANCE
In order to ensure optimum functioning, the unit may require cleaning at least once a month,
depending on the manner of use and degree of contamination.
1.
Switch off and power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning!
2.
Let he appliance to cool (for at least 30 minutes).
3.
Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the air inlets (3) and outlets (4)!
4.
Use a slightly moistened cloth to clean the unit's outer surface. Do not use aggressive
cleaners. Avoid getting water inside onto the electric components of the appliance!
6. Remove the glass panel from the heater by sliding the glass panel toward the switches. Place the
glass panel in a safe location, away from where the appliance is being assembled. Do not remove
protective film from the glass yet.

According to Figure 3, fasten the wall mount (9) horizontally to the wall at the desired location using the
included screws and dowels. The recommended 600 mm installation height is not mandatory,
however, the minimum height of 300 mm above the floor must be observed! The wall mount should be
flush with the wall. Please take into account the wall's bearing capacity!
8.
Using the 2 included small screws attach the lift-off prevention plate (10) onto the bottom of the heater
so that the plate is flush with the wall surface.
9.
Hang the heater onto the wall mount!
10.
Mark the screw holes of the lift-off prevention plate on the wall.
11.
Remove the heater from the wall then drill holes of appropriate size to accommodate the dowels into
the wall. Insert the dowels into the holes.
12.
Hang the heater back onto the wall mount then fasten the lift-off prevention plate using the screws.
13.
Make sure the device is stably placed on the wall!
14.
Place the provided river pebbles in the appliance.
15.
Hang the glass panel onto the heater at the two fixing points on either side.
16.
Verify that the unit's mains switch is in the OFF “0” position!
17.
Plug the unit's standard grounded AC power cable into a grounded wall outlet. Now the unit is ready for
operation!
Caution: Risk of electric shock!
Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its
accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of
a specialist.
In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.
