WARNINGS
Before using this product, please read the following instructions carefully and retain it for further reference. • The scale is a sensitive electronic
instrument. Some devices operated with high frequency, such as mobile phones, radio stations, remote controllers, microwave ovens may cause
interference, if they are in the close proximity of the scale. Keep away from these devices, if you detect irregular operation on the display. • Protect the device
from shocks, damp, dust, chemicals, extreme temperature changes, electromagnetic fields, and direct heat radiation. • Only for private use. • Pay attention to
the polarity by replacing the battery! • It is forbidden to open, burn or short circuit the batteries! • It is forbidden to recharge the non-rechargeable batteries! Risk of
explosion! • The unit and the batteries must not be thrown in the household waste! • If you do not use the scale for longer period, remove the battery from it. Otherwise
liquid can leak out, onto the inner component of the device, causing irreversibly damage.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Remove the cover of the battery compartment, put in 1 x 3 V (CR2032) button battery, by paying attention to the right polarity. Put back the cover of the battery holder.
The LCD display will show „888”, and with this the luggage scale is ready to use.
MEASUREMENT PROCESS
Push the ON/OFF switch to switch the scale on. The LCD display will show „888” by turning on. Keep the scale in vertical position, till the 0,0 kg appears on the LCD
display. The object to be measured has to be placed on the scale until 0.0 kg is shown on the display. Lift the scale by taking it by its grip. When the measurement
is completed, the value will be shown on the LCD display, and HOLD sign will appear at the corner on the right. To reset the scale and for a new measurement of
an object, first remove the pre-measured object, then briefly press the ON / OFF button. 0,0 kg will appear on the LCD display.
Press the ON/OFF switch to turn off the scale, or wait for a few seconds, while the scale switches off automatically.
SELECTING MEASURING UNIT (kg / lb)
1. Push the ON/OFF switch to turn on the scale.
2. While „888” is displayed on the LCD display, quickly press the ON / OFF button again to switch between the measuring units.
Tare function
1. If you use extra case for measuring the object, first measure the case itself.
2. Wait till the LCD display will show that weight.
3. While you continue to keep raising the storage case, press the ON/OFF button, and the scale will return to 0,0 kg position.
4. Put the object to be measured to the storage case.
5. Then the weight of the objects placed into the case will be shown on the display.
ERROR MESSAGES
The maximum carrying capacity of the luggage scale is: 40 kg. If objects with larger weight are placed on the scale, „ERR” error message will be displayed. Greater
than 40 kg weighing can cause damage of the scale. Displaying the battery symbol means, that the power of the battery is low, replace the battery as soon as
possible.
In order to achieve the most accurate measurement results, please do not shake or sway the weight.
