Universal Plug and Play
Universal plug and play (UPnP), NAT, and firewall traversal allow traffic to pass through the router for applications using the
UPnP protocol. This feature requires one active WAN connection. In addition, the computer should support this feature. In the
presence of multiple WAN connections, select a connection on which the incoming traffic is present, for example, the default
WAN connection.
UPnP
To configure UPnP:
1. Select
Advanced
.
2. Select
Application > Enable UPnP
.
3. Select the
WAN Connection
and
LAN Connection
that will use UPnP from the drop-down lists.
4. Click
Apply
to temporarily apply the settings.
5. To make changes permanent, click
Save Settings
.
