NOTE: The unit may emit a slight, harmless odour and smoke when first used. This odour & smoke is
normal and it is caused by heating the internal heater parts and will not occur again.
NOTE: Ensure the manual ON/OFF switch located under the top bar of the trim (see fig. 15) is
switched to the “I” position.
Powering the Fireplace
Press the fire on/off button to turn on the fire and the current setting temperature will be shown on
the remote control display. Press the Power button again to turn off the fire, for added realism the
fire will slowly fade before switching off.
NOTE: All previous settings are held in memory, so the next time you power up the fireplace, the unit
will turn on with the same settings.
Target Temperature Setting
Adjust the temperature to the desired setting (15° to 30°C Range)
using the S & - buttons - See Fig 18. The default setting is 30°C.
NOTE: The target temperature must be above the room temperature
for the heating function to operate.
Push and hold S & - button together for more than 2 seconds
to change the temperature unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Heater ON/OFF
Press the Heater ON/OFF button on Remote Control to switch on or
off the Heater on both sides of your fire. Symbol “ ” will be displayed
on LCD screen when the heater is switched ON. See Fig. 19.
Heat Selection Button
Press the Heat button on Remote Control to select one side or the
other or will be displayed on LCD screen. The heater button
cycles with each push from front heater, to rear heater to both
heaters then to off and starts again. See Fig. 20.
NOTE: Only when the Heater ON/OFF button is switched to ON ( ),
can the side be selected.
NOTE: On either setting, the heat function will turn off when the
room temperature reaches the target temperature. The heat
function will automatically restart when the room temperature
drops 3°C below the target temperature.
NOTE: As an additional safety feature, the heater will turn off after
12 hours continuous operation in case it has been left on by mistake.
