Spraying
Loosen the pump handle from the storage position
by pushing down and turning out of the stop
position.
Fig. 5:
Pump the unit until the desired operating
pressure is reached in the container. Excessive
pressure escapes automatically through the
pressure relief valve.
In a safe, open area, remove the spray tube from
the storage clamp in the pump handle (Fig. 2) and
start the spray process by pressing the shut-off
valve. Releasing the shut-off valve stops the spray
process. Adjust the spray nozzle as needed.

The spray tube can be rotated in the shut-off valve
by loosening the threaded collar, rotating the spray
tube, and retightening the threaded collar – this is
useful for spraying under leaves.
Cleaning, care and storage
After each use, release pressure, always keeping
the sprayer in vertical position. Empty the container,
carefully clean, and rinse well with clean water.
Remove any unused chemical after use and, either
store in a proper container or dispose according to
local and/or state requirements.
For cleaning nozzle, spray tube, and shut-off valve,
operate the sprayer using clean water (add
dishwashing detergent if required).
Fig. 7:
Occasionally clean the filter and spray
nozzle with water and a soft brush. Never use your
mouth to blow through the spray nozzle!
Never use caustic, acid-based or solvent-based
cleaning substances (gasoline for example).
When storing the sprayer, always empty and dry
the sprayer completely and store it in a location
that is dry, frost-free, and protected from direct
sunlight.
