Hot steam ejected by the kettle
can cause scalding. Observe the
maximum filling level. Never open
or remove the lid during operation.

Do not place the appliance or the
connecting cable on hot surfaces
e.g. cooker or similar or in the
vicinity of open flames!
The appliance is equipped with
a safety cutout which turns the
kettle off in case there is not
enough water in the kettle. In
case the unit is switched off
during operation, you should
wait for 5 minutes and switch it
on again.
The installation of a faulty cur-
rent protective device with a
rated breaking current offers
you additional safety by ensur-
ing that 30 mA will not be
exceeded in the house installa-
tion. Let your installation electri-
cian advise you!
Never switch on the appliance
if there is no water in it. The
stainless steel base becomes
discoloured and could be dam-
aged if the kettle is used when
there is no water in it.
Never fill the kettle beyond the
maximum filling level!
If the kettle is overfilled, there
could be a partial or complete
malfunction of the appliance, so
that the appliance no longer
switches itself off automatically.
If the kettle is overfilled boiling
water may be ejected!
The appliance becomes hot
during operation - this is nor-
mal! Only ever use the handle to
pour out the water!
The appliance is not approved
for use outdoors.
Remove the plug from the mains:
- if the unit does not function
properly
- before cleaning
- after every use

Protect the outer kettle and the
power base from damp. Never
put them into the dishwasher!
Never immerse them in water!

cable to pull on the plug nor
remove the plug from the socket
with wet hands!
