prompted
for
a
password,
enter
the
following:
UP

DOWN

NOTE:
It
is
often
common
at
sites
with
High
AC
voltage
above
1.05p.u
that
the
Utility
would
like
to
modify
the
power
factor
to
reduce
the
voltage
at
the
point
of
common
coupling.
This
can
be
done
by
setting
the
inverter
to
absorb
vars.
For
the
PVI
23
‐
28TL
this
can
be
achieved
by
setting
the
inverter
to
a
negative
value.
For
example,
one
would
set
the
power
factor
to
‐
0.95
which
will
help
reduce
the
AC
voltage
at
site
by
allowing
the
inverter
to
absorb
vars.
