INLET/OUTLET CONNECTIONS
To allow for disconnection of the water heater a barrel union must always be provided at the cold
water inlet, solar hot water inlet and hot water outlet on the water heater to allow for disconnection of
the water heater. The pipe work must be cleared of foreign matter before connection. All pipe fittings
must be assembled using two spanners – do not exert excessive amounts of torque on the pipes or
water heater fittings.
