Starting up the system for the first time
Observe the corresponding operating manual when starting up the control unit.

Are all of the sensors installed and connected at the correct
locations?
Are all outputs connected?
Close the housings of all controllers
Switch on the control

Supply power to the control unit
Set up the control

Set the current time and date

6.1
Control unit
Please refer to the separate manual for operation of the control unit.
6.2
Gravity brake
A gravity brake is integrated in the return ball valve to prevent incorrect circulation in the
primary circuit. Turn the handle to operate it.
Operating position, gravity brake closed
Operating position:
To prevent circulation under the force of
gravity the valve head must not be opened.
The ball valve handle is vertical.
The gravity brake is closed.
Service position, gravity brake open
Service position, bleeding/filling:
Slightly open the valve head on the gravity
brake to fill and completely drain the primary
circuit.
The gravity brake is opened by turning the
ball valve handle clockwise.
The handle is positioned in 45° position, the
gravity brake is open.
