USE AND CARE:
•
Do not use the appliance when empty.
•
Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch
does not work.
•
Do not move the appliance while in use.
•
Use the appliance handle/s, to catch it or move
it.
•
Do not use the appliance if it is tipped up and
do not turn it over.
•
Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use
or connected to the mains.
•
To keep the non-stick treatment in good condi-
tion, do not use metal or pointed utensils on it.
•
Respect the MAX and MIN levels.
•
Disconnect the appliance from the mains when
not in use and before undertaking any cleaning
task.
•
Store this appliance out of reach of children
and/or persons with physical, sensory or re-
duced mental or lack of experience and knowl-
edge.
•
Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
•
Never leave the appliance connected and un-
attended if is not in use. This saves energy and
prolongs the life of the appliance.
•
CAUTION: Water condensation may appear
on the surfaces and objects around this appli-
ance.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
•
Make sure that all products’ packaging has
been removed.
•
This appliance has only been designed for
warming milk and liquids, and for preparing hot
chocolate. Do not use it for any other purpose.
•
Before using the product for the first time it is
advisable to boil water within, so as to remove
all remaining dust and impurities.
•
Before using the product for the first time, clean
the parts that will come into contact with food in
the manner described in the cleaning section.
•
Some parts of the appliance have been lightly
greased. Consequently, the first time the appli-
ance is used a light smoke may be detected.
After a short time, this smoke will disappear.
•
Prepare the appliance according to the func-
tion you wish to use:
USE:
•
Extend the cable completely before plugging
it in.
•
Ensure that the electronic connector is proper-
ly attached to the appliance.
•
Insert the cord connector into the connector on
the base of the milk warmer.
•
Connect the appliance to the mains.
•
Raise the lid and pour the milk into the milk
warmer. The quantity of milk must be between
the MIN and MAX marks.
•
Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off
switch.The pilot light will come on.
HEATING MILK
•
Wait a few minutes until the milk has reached
the required temperature.
•
We recommend keeping the lid closed while
the appliance is operating, to prevent skin from
forming.
•
Once the maximum temperature (80ºC) has
been reached, this temperature will remain
constant but without boiling.
PREPARING HOT CHOCOLATE
•
Break the chocolate up into pieces for better
dissolution.
•
Add the pieces of chocolate to the milk.
•
Stir gently from time to time using a wooden
spoon until an even mixture has formed. Do
not use abrasive products that could damage
the coating.
•
Add more chocolate or milk to the mixture to
obtain thicker or thinner chocolate, depending
on your preference.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE:
•
Turn the appliance off, using the on/off switch.
•
Unplug the appliance from the mains.
