2.6.2 Insert the memory card
To insert the memory card:
1. Grasp the battery compartment door knob and turn it
counter clockwise, then pull the door open.
2. Insert the card and push it in until it stops.
3. Push the battery compartment door closed, then turn the
knob clockwise until it stops.
2.6.3 Format a memory card
If you use a card other than the card that comes with the receiver,
ensure that you use only industrial temperature-rated (-40° C to
+85° C) CompactFlash cards.
Before using a new card, insert it (see Section 2.6.2, Insert the
memory card , page 14) and press the power button for 20 seconds
to format the card for use with the receiver.

Do not close the battery compartment door while the ejector
button is extended.
CAUTION
⚠
You should always format a new card after inserting it, even if you
have previously used the card with the receiver. If temporary and/or
system files (“Recycle Bin”) are present on the card, it may interfere
with normal receiver operation.
