Transmit (yellow)
The LED indicates activity on the ARCNET
transmitting channel. The brightness of the LED
depends on the bit rate set, the length of the
transmitted packages as well as on the number of
nodes in the ARCNET.
Power LEDs
(green)
There are power LEDs indicating the presence of
the necessary supply voltages the values of are
printed on the board. These LEDs will not be visible
when the card is built in.
8.6.2 LEDs of the SH ARC-PCI104
LED
Description
PC activity (red):
This LED indicates all write and read accesses to
the SH ARC-PCI104 by the host.
Power LEDs
(green):
LED1 indicates the presence of a 5 V supply, LED2
that of 3.3 V. The LED do not show whether the
voltages fulfill the requirements of the card and the
interface module.
LED4 (green):
This LED is activated when a coaxial interface
module is applied and when a bit rate valid for such
modules is configured. Otherwise coaxial interfaces
are not being accessed.
8.6.3 LEDs of the interface modules
LED
Description
PC activity (green) This LED indicates activity at the ARCNET receive
channel. Accesses trigger a 1ms monoflop for
better visualization. In case of stable ARCNET
communication this LED will light continuously. It
will flicker when reconfigurations occur.
Status (red):
When an interface module is applied to the SH
ARC-PCI104 this LED remains inactive.
