Connection to a controller
The following chapter describes how to establish a EtherNet/IP connection using the engineering systems
Rockwell Studio 5000 or Emerson DeltaV.
5.1
EtherNet/IP Mapping
The EtherNet/IP Gateway maps the I/O data and statuses of the configured PROFIBUS slaves to EtherNet/
IP input and output assemblies.
5.1.1
Assemblies
The EtherNet/IP Gateway supports two input and two output assemblies with a maximum size of 255
bytes per assembly. The following table shows the assembly IDs that are used for the different assemblies.
