Useful Functions 

Using Urgent News 

View received emergency earthquake alerts and tsunami warnings from the Japan 
Meteorological Agency, as well as disaster and evacuation information from the national 
and local governments (receive setting is enabled at time of purchase). 

If Urgent News Arrives 

  and a message appear in Notification Bar. Tablet sounds quake alert or 

disaster/evacuation information alert, and vibrates. 

 Urgent News is not received during calls or transmissions, or when signal is weak. 

 Alert sounds for arriving Urgent News even if in silent mode.
