4.2. Grounding Connection (PE)

Connect the inverter to the grounding electrode using ground cable

SOFAR 3.3~12KTLX-G3 is a transformerless inverter which requires

the positive pole and negative pole of the PV array are NOT

grounded. Otherwise, it will cause inverter failure. In the PV

system, all non-current-carrying metal parts (such as mounting

frame, combiner box enclosure, etc.) should be connected to

earthed.

Note

Preparation: prepare the grounding cable (recommend greater than
2.5mm

²

yellow-green outdoor cable)

Procedure:

Step 1

: Remove the insulation layer with an appropriate length using a wire

stripper shown as figure 4-2
