4-10. Turning the power on and off
The power can be turned on by pressing the
power button.
Check the following.
The power supply fan should operate, and
the power LED should light.
The “Linaro 96Boards” logo screen should
appear on the display.
There should be no unusual smells, sounds
or heat coming from the unit when
operating.
If the unit does not operate normally, check the
wiring and installation.
To turn off the power, use the desktop power
button,or input “shutdown –h now”command as
root.
CAUTION
1. If you hear any unusual sounds or smell something burning, immediately
remove the power plug from the outlet.
Failure to do so may result in mechanical failure or bodily injury.
2. When checking the inside of the unit, take sufficient care not to cut your
fingers on the pins or on the sharp edges of the metal. Check the unit as far
as you personally can—do not strain yourself.
