carefully for any defects. If you find any, do not start up your

When using the power scrubber, basic 

safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the 

risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury. These include:

• 

Know your product –

 Know how to stop the power 

scrubber quickly. Thoroughly familiarize yourself with the 
controls.

• 

Keep bystanders away –

 All visitors and pets should be 

kept a safe distance away from the work area.

• 

Use the right product – 

Do not use this power scrubber for 

any job except that for which it is intended.

•  Dress properly –

 Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. 

They can get caught in moving parts. Protective rubber 
gloves and non-slip footwear are recommended when 
working outdoors.

•

CAUTION! –

 Exercise caution to avoid slipping or falling. 

Wear protective footwear that will protect your feet and 
improve your footing on slippery surfaces.

• 

Stay alert –

 Watch what you are doing. Use common 

sense. Do not operate the power scrubber when you are 
tired, or 

under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• 

Do not overreach –

 

Keep proper footing and balance at  

all times.

• 

Prevent unintentional starting – 

Make sure the switch is 

off before inserting the battery, picking up, or carrying the 

power scrubber. Do not carry the power scrubber with your 

finger on the switch. 

•  Use safety glasses –

 Also use safety footwear, snug-fitting 

clothing, protective gloves, and hearing and head protection.

• 

Store idle tool indoors –

 When not in use, power scrubber 

should be stored indoors in a dry and safe place out of the 
reach of children. Do not expose to freezing temperatures.

by children or untrained personnel.

Use recommended accessories

 – Consult the owner’s 

manual for recommended accessories. The use of improper 
accessories may cause risk of injury. 

•  Follow the maintenance instructions specified in the 

manual.

source by removing the battery from the compartment.
